Sashi Publications is one of the leading publishers of Journals and Books on Insurance, Banking and Public Relations. The group is in the publication business since last 4 decades. The journals and books have PAN India circulation and the books are also circulated out of India in many countries.
The group published the first journal The Insurance Times in the year 1981 and since then there has been no looking back. The Insurance Times is the most widely read Insurance Journal in India.
In the year 1988 another journal Banking Finance was published which covers exclusively Banking and Finance Sector. This journal is also very popular in Banking circle.
In the year 1998 PR Communication Age, the only monthly journal on Public Relations and Communications was launched. This is still the only journal on Public Relations in India. Along with the journal we have also published a 4 Colour Tabloid on Public Relations.
In the year 2001 we started training courses on Insurance sector under the aegis of Insurance Training Centre. This was the first IRDA accredited training centre in Kolkata and we trained around 35000 prospective Insurance Agents. Insurance Training Centre is also the accredited Learning Centre of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai
In the Year 2005 to cater to the specific demand of Life Insurance Sector we ventured to launch Life Insurance Today, a monthly journal dedicated to Life Insurance Industry. The journal is quite popular in Life Insurance Companies, Insurance Agents, Intermediaries and has circulation all over India.
In 2015 we launched Financial Bazaar, a fortnightly newspaper on Insurance, Banking and Financial Industry in India. The newspaper is also having India wide circulation.
The group has also launched www.bimabazaar.com which is a very popular portal in the Insurance field. The portal provides latest updates about the developments in the insurance industry in India may be life or general insurance industry.
We also have a portal on Banking and Financial Industry titled www.bankingfinance.in This covers the entire gamut of banking and Financial Sector.
We are one of the largest publishers of Examination Books for various exams in Insurance Industry. We have more than 30 titles to our credit. Thousands of candidates have passed various examinations by reading our books.
We continue to expand in various fields and explore new possibilities to help in sharing of knowledge among wide spectrum of readers across India.

Chief EditorMr Agarwal is Editor of the Journals The Insurance Times and Banking Finance and the founding president of Risk Management Association of India. He envisioned the idea of forming a platform for risk professionals around 25 years back. Since then he has been relentlessly following his dreams to build a vibrant organization of people who can exchange and gather knowledge in the arena of Risk Management.
He founded the Insurance Times Group way back in 1981 to promote education and awareness in insurance industry in India. He has also been instrumental in formation of Insurance Consumer Forum of India, an NGO engaged in offering free advisory services to consumers.
