Mr Ram Gopal Agarwala is Editor of the Monthly Journals The Insurance Times and Banking Finance.
He is an commerce graduate having completed Bachelor of Law and Chartered Accountancy. He established R.G.Agarwala & Company, a Chartered Accountants Firm in the year 1970. He was the first Chartered Accountant Insurance Surveyor in Eastern India and successful carried on Insurance Survey in Fire, Marine, Misc department in Eastern India.
He founded the Insurance Times Group way back in 1980 to promote education and awareness in insurance industry in India. He launched The Insurance Times, the first monthly journal on Insurance in the year 1981 after research of around 2 years. The journal covers General Insurance, Life Insurance and Risk Management.
In 1988 he launched Banking Finance a monthly journal on Banking and Finance Industry.
In the Year 1992 he launched Insurance Training Centre, A premiere training Institute for education and training in Insurance Industry.
In the year 1992 he laid the foundation of Two Non Govermental bodies viz Risk Management Association of India and Insurance Consumer Forum of India. He was the founding president of both Associations.
Risk Management Association of India is a Global Body for research and development in the area of Risk Management.
Insurance Consumer Forum of India, is offering free advisory services to consumers in Insurance Industry.
In the year 1998 he was instrumental in launching PR Communication Age, First Monthly journal on Public Relations and Communication in India.
He organised number of Seminars and workshop all over India in last 4 decades to educate the financial industry and made a significant contribution to education and awareness in financial sector India.
