Dr Rakesh Agarwal, has had an illustrious educational and professional career since beginning.
A commerce graduate he pursued Masters of Commerce, Completed Bachelor of Law and Legislature(LLB), Post Graduate Course in Journalism and Mass Communication, Masters in Business Administration.
He is Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Fellow of Insurance Institute of India and holds Diploma in Information Systems and Technology from ICAI.
He completed his Phd in Risk Management in Indian Industries to pursue advanced research in the area of Risk Management.
Currently he is the Editor of Monthly journals The Insurance Times and Banking Finance.
He started his professional career by becoming Assistant Editor of the journals The Insurance Times and Banking Finance at a very young age in the year 1993. Since then there was no looking back and he continues to pursue his passion in the education industry in insurance and banking sector.

He is the Secretary General of Risk Management Association of India and Insurance Consumer Forum of India.
